These are amazing little items and are becoming more and more difficult to find. They were used by women to take notes and could often attach to their dress by a chain or ribbon. Both of these are in absolutely amazing condition. Both still have full sheets of paper (including some French writing in the Floral one) and the pencils. The Strasbourg one still has the original chain. The chain on the Floral one has been replaced quite a long time ago with a string.
