Antique French Cookbook, Tante Marie: Les Veritable Cuisine de Famille, c. 1920s, 2 options
This is one of the classic French cookbooks!
Filled with classic recipes, practical techniques, and no-nonsense charm, it’s the kind of well-worn guide that turns everyday meals into something soulful. Whether perched on a kitchen shelf or gifted to a Francophile cook, it carries the comforting authority of generations past.
And I actually have two copies:
Copy 1 (upright on the right in the photo + the 5 photos after): This one is in very good condition for a book that is over 100 years old. It has a bit of staining on a few pages, but the cover and pages are tight.
Copy 2 (laying down + last two photos): This is over 100 years old and it shows. Someone has lovingly tried to restitch it but sewed the back cover on upside down and the front cover is off it completely. Most of the pages are in good condition and this could be used for a project using just different pages. Priced accordingly.
