New Colors and Sizes - Handmade Lavender Wands
These are an item unique to France (usually Provence) and they are always handmade, because they can’t be made with a machine. They are made by taking fresh stalks of lavender before they have dried (which is the reason they are only available once a year during lavender harvest). They are gathered at the end of the stalks and then at the top, each stalk is bent down into the fat part of the wand. So the lavender inside is still attached to the stalk. Then they are intertwined with ribbon.
If choosing “Random Jaquard” you may make a ribbon request in the notes, but I cannot guarantee that one.
Bright purple may vary a bit in color.
You can put them in a drawer or under your pillow at night for better sleep. Put several in a vase for a beautiful display. And as I found out at a recent festival, kids LOVE these!
To increase scent, roll the wand back and forth in your hands or add a bit of lavender oil.
