These small cubes (150 grams each) of soap from Marseille are guaranteed to add a rustic charm to any laundry or bathroom and they are amazing soaps to use. Made by the family-owned Le Serail company in Marseille, each goes through a five-stage process and then pressed using vintage molds. They are made with a 72% blend of coconut and copra oils. These cubes each have an exfoliant property as well — rose leaves or lavender blooms and smell amazing! They are hypoallergenic and each is individually crafted so no two will look exactly the same. As these soaps become exposed to air, they do dry out on the edges. However, this does not affect the cleansing properties of the soap at all. Your bar may also have a thin layer of white salt from the curing process. This is normal and will come off after the first use. Each bar is unique and may also have some quirky little bumps and bruises.
