Vintage Souvenir Jewelry Box, c. 1890-1900 - #19 Trocadero
This is an amazing collection of ormolu* jewelry boxes from the 1890-1900s, meant as souvenirs for visitors.
There are 19 in all! Each one has a drawing of a Paris landmark on the lid (except two from Strasbourg). I see one of these occasionally, but rarely with the Paris landmarks. Some are in better shape than others (I mean, they are 130 years old.) Some are larger (up to 5.75") and some are very small (2"). Some have little cushion in the bottom or mirrors in the lid. Many have very rare, thick beveled glass sides. Please email with any questions. All ship free and insured.

This medium-sixed box depicts the Trocadero in Paris and has a beveled glass sides and top. The feet are solid but there is a slight wobble. The interior mirror is a bit blurry, but the green tufted pillow inside is in good condition.
