French Black Truffle Oil - 100% organic from small farm in Provence
Heaven must be in this little tin of black truffle (tuber melanosporum) oil! Sadly, most of the black truffle oil on the market today never actually comes in contact with a truffle. But oh, this wonderful oil is so different! The olives are harvested directly from the olive trees at Les Pastras, a very small-production farm in the heart of Provence. After pressing, the oil is infused with true, authentic tuber melanosporum (black truffles) for 7 days - yes, that means it actually is in direct contact with the truffles. This is a 3oz. tin, but you don't need to use nearly as much of this oil as you would with a fake truffle oil. It's taste is intense and elegant ("like a woman" Les Pastras' owner, Johann, will tell you). This is the real deal!
