French Vintage Red-Striped Linen Kitchen Towels, c.1920s, Quadruple/Four Stripe
Ah, French linens. Those two words have me instantly imagining a snowy day baking in the kitchen. Towels like these have been used for generations in French kitchens. These are beautiful linen towels in an ecru color with a quadruple stripe of red on each side and the monogram tag J.G. They have been starched and pressed but will only get softer with time and washing.
As with all vintage items, I send these towels like you would find them in a French Brocantes market. Some have minor stains or imperfections or smell a bit like Grandma’s attic. Most of these will come out with washing.
