Room by room, Sara Slim breaks down the art of the French country interior — the linen, the patina, the impeccable carelessness of a home that looks gathered rather than decorated. Practical enough to use, including information on painting and specific furniture, but inspirational at the same time. Beautiful enough to leave on the coffee table.
