They are perfect for grating garlic, ginger, shallots, but also chocolate, nuts, hard cheeses, zesting citrus, and more! Or you can use it as a serving dish just by adding the oil of your choice. Just rub the food over the teeth. It won’t pulverize or liquefy softer foods like garlic.
