Handmade French Puzzles - The Paris Collection - French Artwork

These puzzles are a piece of artwork on their own. Only 80 pieces, but the unique shape of each piece still provides a challenge. Choose from the Eiffel Tower, the Ceiling of the Paris Opera House, the beautiful Rosette window in Nortre Dame de Paris or Van Gogh’s Starry Night.

New-Auvers-sur-Oise - Van Gogh’s last town of residence.

Delacroix’s Mid December - A snowy Paris street scene. (This one has 150 pieces.)

Delacroix’s Avenue Felix - A lively Paris street scene.

Eiffel Tower - Louis Tauzin was a XIX-century French painter and illustrator. He Headed the Workshop at Champenois, one of the most important printing houses at the time. This etching dates from 1889, when the Eiffel Tower became brown-red for the Universal Exhibition. Size:15 x 11 cm (approx.)

Paris Opera - The ceiling of the Opera Garnier in Paris was painted by Marc Chagall on the request of the Minister of Culture André Malraux in 1964. We can see fourteen of the most illustrious opera and ballet composers.

Rosette Window - The construction of the Cathedral Notre Dame de Paris took about 200 years. The North-facing stained-glass window is about 10 meters in diameter and 35 meters high.

Vincent Van Gogh stayed at the Saint-Remy de Provence Hospital in 1889. He painted this picture from his window, with fever and excitement. Complementary colors and swirling lines give great power to this work. Size: 10 x 14 cm

From the puzzle maker: These Wooden Puzzles have been made since 1975 in France! Our puzzles are neither punched, nor laser cut, they are jigsawed in wood by our craftsmen.. as in the old days :-) Each of our puzzle is unique and cut by one of our skilled cutters by hand in our craft shops in Paris and in Burgundy. We push forward the traditional know-how of jigsaw puzzles cutting, so that our puzzle piece shapes follow the represented image. The cut depends on the style of the artist and on how each artisan perceives produces brushwork, for the pleasure of the player! When the image show a sky, we cut it int cloud shape pieces, the water areas are cut into wave shape pieces, building into brick shape... We follow the dynamics and perspectives of the image, its details and color lines...

And we always offer free l shipping with orders over $100!
