French Vintage Nightdress, Handsewn of Soft Cotton, 1930s

Long before today's romantic French-inspired camisoles appeared in boutiques, French women were wearing beautiful, simple pieces like these.

Dating to approximately the 1930s, these authentic French chemises are made from wonderfully soft, lightweight white cotton and finished by hand with the delicate details that make old French textiles so special.

Similar French-inspired camisoles are being recreated today—but this one has already lived nearly a century in France. Why buy the reproduction when you can have the real thing?

This one - 33" Nightdress - The longest of the three in this collection, this piece is exquisite and made of lovely soft French cotton.   It would be lovely worn as a lightweight summer nightdress or layered as an easy, romantic piece around the house.  (Has one TINY pinhole)
