1930s Vintage French Cotton Camisole, Hand Sewn French Lingerie, Romantic Layering Top

Long before today's romantic French-inspired camisoles appeared in boutiques, French women were wearing beautiful, simple pieces like these.

Dating to approximately the 1930s, these authentic French chemises are made from wonderfully soft, lightweight white cotton and finished by hand with the delicate details that make old French textiles so special.

Similar French-inspired camisoles are being recreated today—but this one has already lived nearly a century in France. Why buy the reproduction when you can have the real thing?

I found three, each slightly different:

This one - 28" long camisole - A longer camisole length that would be beautiful worn with jeans, trousers or a skirt. Add a linen shirt, cardigan or jacket and suddenly a piece of 1930s French lingerie feels completely at home in 2026.  This one does have a repair to the straps (but a very good one), a TINY stain (3mm) that I think will come out and two TINY pinholes.  Pinholes and repairs in back.  Priced accordingly.
